Derelict

The Moran Municipal Generation Station, Burlington, Vermont (aka the Moran Plant), was built in 1953 but was decommissioned in 1986. It sat derelict until 2020, when deconstruction finally commenced. Although many considered the Moran Plant to be an eyesore on the Burlington waterfront, I always found something reassuring about its shear mass and purposefulness. In late 2022, its bones were given a fresh coat of paint and christened "The Frame".
